SHIPPING & RETURNS
Each Relic is made when you order it, then shipped flat or rolled with tracking. Because prints are made to order, I can’t accept change-of-mind returns. If yours arrives damaged or misprinted, contact me, and I’ll make it right.
PROVENANCE
The illustration is adapted from Pierre Philippe Choffard's etching and engraving Pièce commémorative d'un mariage (1780), a print made to commemorate a marriage. The source impression is in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York (56.566.1, The Elisha Whittelsey Collection, The Elisha Whittelsey Fund, 1956), via the Met's public-domain collection. It has been digitally adapted and rendered in sepia for this print. Poem © Pablo Camacho. Relic Nº 005 in the Relics series, Dawn collection.
ABOUT THE SERIES
Why a Relic?
Each Relic treats a single poem like an artifact recovered from an old archive. It’s paired with a digitally adapted antique illustration, numbered and finished with a colophon and my seal. Each print is made to order on textured fine-art paper. The number marks its place in a growing collection, organized by the hours of the night.
