PROVENANCE

The illustration is adapted from Trofee met tuinbouwattributen (Trophy with Gardening Tools), an etching by Etienne Claude Voysard after a design by Pierre Ranson, published by Esnauts & Rapilly, Paris, 1778. The source impression is in the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam (RP-P-1964-2267, purchased with the support of the F.G. Waller-Fonds), via the museum's public-domain collection. It has been digitally adapted and rendered in sepia for this print. Poem © Pablo Camacho. Relic Nº 010 in the Relics series, Midnight collection.

ABOUT THE SERIES

Why a Relic?
