SHIPPING & RETURNS
Each Relic is made when you order it, then shipped flat or rolled with tracking. Because prints are made to order, I can’t accept change-of-mind returns. If yours arrives damaged or misprinted, contact me, and I’ll make it right.
PROVENANCE
The illustration is adapted from American Swift, plate 158 of John James Audubon's The Birds of America, engraved by Robert Havell Jr. (London, 1833). The source impression, a hand-colored engraving and aquatint, is in the National Gallery of Art, Washington (1945.8.158, Gift of Mrs. Walter B. James), via the museum's public-domain collection. It has been digitally adapted, with the birds rearranged and rendered in sepia for this print. Poem © Pablo Camacho. Relic Nº 012 in the Relics series, Midnight collection.
ABOUT THE SERIES
Why a Relic?
Each Relic treats a single poem like an artifact recovered from an old archive. It’s paired with a digitally adapted antique illustration, numbered and finished with a colophon and my seal. Each print is made to order on textured fine-art paper. The number marks its place in a growing collection, organized by the hours of the night.
