Poetry print · a love poem about a lifetime of discovery, from Salvation: Poems on Finding Love Again

PROVENANCE

The illustration is adapted from the chaffinch plate in John Gould's The Birds of Great Britain (London, 1862–73), volume III, plate 34, drawn and lithographed with Henry Constantine Richter. The source copy is held by the Smithsonian Libraries and Archives (39088015715808) and digitized by the Biodiversity Heritage Library, which marks it as public domain. It has been digitally adapted and rendered in sepia for this print. Poem © Pablo Camacho. Relic Nº 011 in the Relics series, Midnight collection.
