Love’s Cycle:
Poems + Other Short Writings (2017)
Discover the raw beauty of love and loss in Pablo Camacho's first poetry collection, Love's Cycle.
This book is about love in all its parts. First, there is the reaching for love, the yearning, the longing to feel and be felt. Then there is the grasping of love. It's that moment when you feel love is endless and infinite, and you find yourself intoxicated by bliss. And finally, it's when you must let go. It's when the world says, "It is time for another soul to have a turn.” It's when you, as a lover, must accept that not everything lasts forever.
In Love’s Cycle, Pablo Camacho takes the vulnerability, passion, and rawness of human expression and puts it into honest words through poems and other short writings. Sometimes, there is sadness. But often, there is also hope.
With this poetry anthology, you will:
Feel an understanding of the depths of human emotion and the beauty of love, often experienced in early adulthood
Gain a newfound appreciation for the power of relationships and how they can transform our lives
Enjoy the beauty of stories that capture the joys and sorrows of love
Gain insight into the cyclical nature of love through prose and poetry that describe stories of love, heartbreak, and recovery
About the Author
Pablo Camacho was born in Puerto Rico to a military family. At a very young age, he discovered his passion for writing. Love's Cycle is his first collection of poetry and short writings, and a result of his continuous curiosity about the world and what it means to be human.
In his book, he expresses the feelings of love and loss that are often experienced in early adulthood. In every poem, he hopes to paint a picture of the human condition and remind others that they are not alone when experiencing similar situations.
